2024 BECE Sample Questions From NaCCA New Update
Following the release of NaCCA’s 2024 BECE Sample Questions, the Ghana Education News team has published all available sample questions and more to assist candidates, teachers, and schools in understanding the types of questions WAEC is likely to administer.
Officially, the NaCCA sample questions released cover only three subjects. NaCCA has recently announced that it will release the remaining subjects for the BECE sample questions in the upcoming week.
In a statement attached to the released sample question by NaCCA, sighted by Ghana Education News, NaCCA stated that “there will be uploading of assessment items… for other subjects, and that it expects teachers and learners to make use of these items in preparation for the junior high school exit examination.” Mathematics, English, and science are the initial assessment items. This year, the advertisement for the BECE for School and Private Candidates will run from Monday, July 8th, to Friday, July 12th, 2024. However, the first phase of the 2024 BECE registration ended on Friday, April 19, 2024.
“With the introduction of the common core curriculum, we will examine school candidates for BECE differently than private candidates. The examination of school candidates will follow the common core curriculum, whereas the examination of private candidates will adhere to the previous syllabus. Historic facts about the 2024 BECE
- Schools can register candidates for a maximum of ten subjects.
- In 2024, school candidates will write about two new subjects (career technology and creative arts and design).
