2024 WASSCE Core Mathematics Papers Leaked

2024 WASSCE Mathematics leaked

A day prior to the 2024 WASSCE Mathematics exam for Nigerian students, a set of allegedly leaked WAEC-administered questions surfaced on Telegram.

Since the start of this year’s WASSCE for Nigeria and Sierra Leone, other subjects have leaked on the same Telegram page.

The unverified claims made by the poster and their confidence in the paper’s administration are concerning, as they could potentially undermine the examination’s credibility. Earlier questions posted on the channel had their answers shared only with those who had paid for their services.

Over the years, WAEC has been battling all forms of examination malpractice, including the leakage of yet-to-be administered questions online.

Leaks of the 2024 WASSCE Mathematics, a core subject for candidates, can negatively impact both those who have access to them and those who are unaware of them, particularly if WAEC decides to cancel the paper.

A careful look at the questions posted shows that all of the proposed objective test questions have been leaked, with a promise that the other questions (Section B) will be available before they take paper on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Already, Telegram has leaked answers to other WAEC-administered papers for WASSCE 2024 candidates in Nigeria, forcing all students enrolled in these subjects to replicate the answers in the exam room.

For the ongoing WASSCE for students in Nigeria, biology, elective mathematics, core mathematics, physics, accounting, and chemistry are among the subjects leaked. The leak also included physics for students in Sierra Leone.

Candidates who have paid for the services of those behind the leak receive answers from the leaked papers.

On the same telegram page, examinations administered under the NVTI in Ghana and examinations for technical universities in Ghana are leaked with impunity.

The screenshots below serve as the least available evidence of such individuals’ activities.

WAEC would habe to take a careful look at the su[posed 2024 WASSCE Mathematics for Nigeria leaked and compare them to their actual paper then take the necessary actions. WAEC cannot deny the fact that its examination questions are being leaked even if they have no direct access to the leaked papers.

Students and those invloved in the illegal service have become extra careful and very sophisticated that they do not disclose such papers easily to who ever needs its. WAEC must begin to spend some cash in buying such supposed leaked questions from its quarters to be able to independtly verify some of these leakages and take action to weed out such misfits within the WAEC examination space.
