Cape Coast Technical University Announces Appointment Of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
The Cape Coast Technical University invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for teaching and Non-Teaching Staff positions.
Teaching Staff
1. Professor
- Terminal degree (PhD) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching as an Associate Professor.
- At least ten (10) relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals since promotion to Associate Professor.
2. Associate Professor
- Terminal degree (PhD) or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years of teaching as a Senior Lecturer.
- At least eight (8) publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals since promotion to Senior Lecturer.
3. Senior Lecturer
- Terminal degree (PhD) or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years of teaching as a Lecturer.
- At least six (6) publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals since appointment as Lecturer.
4. Lecturer
- Terminal degree (PhD) or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Evidence of at least two publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals is an added advantage.
5. Assistant Lecturer
- Research Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.

Non-Teaching Staff
Senior Membership Positions:
1. ICT Officer
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Information Technology.
- At least eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in a senior management position in Information Technology management in a tertiary institution, industry, or any relevant public service organization, OR
- Served as an Assistant ICT Officer for at least four (4) years.
2. Accountant
- Chartered Accountant with a Master’s degree in the relevant field.
- Served as an Assistant Accountant in a university or comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least three (3) years.
- Computer literate and conversant with accounting software applications.
3. Junior Assistant Registrar
- Master’s degree, preferably in Administration and Management-related areas.
4. Junior Assistant Planning Officer
- Master’s degree in a relevant area.
Senior Staff Positions
1. Senior Accounting Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area from a recognized institution, OR
- HND (Accountancy) or related area from a recognized institution and served as Auditing Assistant in a university or comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least four (4) years, OR
- Relevant Part Professional Certificate (final Certificate or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent qualification) with two (2) years of relevant working experience.
2. Accounting Assistant
- HND (Accountancy) or related area from a recognized institution.
3. Senior Administrative Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area from a recognized institution, OR
- HND (Secretaryship & Management Studies) or relevant area of study from a recognized institution, AND-
- Served as Administrative Assistant in a university or comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least four (4) years, OR
- Private Secretary Certificate and served as Administrative Assistant for five (5) years with relevant experience.
4. Senior Technician
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution, OR
- HND in a relevant field from a recognized institution, OR
- Part (III) of relevant Technician Certificate, AND
- Served as Technician/Technologist in a university or comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least four (4) years.
- Must be computer literate.
5. Technician
- HND in a relevant field from a recognized institution, OR
- Part (III) of relevant Technician Certificate.
- Must be computer literate.
