Woman falls to death at Ohio State graduation ceremony
The deceased fell from 136 feet (41 metres) above the stadium; however, the police do not suspect foul play. The university spokesperson, Ben Johnson, said Tuesday that the fall may also be an accident.
According to the university’s released data, the sad incident occurred around midday, and the university proceeded to organize the graduation as if nothing had happened.
She fell off at the stadium’s Bell Tower area while the final graduating students were filing in.
According to the commencement program, the woman’s daughter was among those graduating.

According to a report filed by washingtonpost  sighted by Ghana Education news “The victim, 53-year-old Larissa Brady, was identified through her fingerprints, the Franklin County Coroner’s Office said Tuesday morning”

“Ohio State is grieving the death of Larissa Brady, a family member of one of our graduates,” OSU spokesman Ben Johnson said in a statement. “Our hearts go out to her family and friends during this exceptionally difficult time.”

The coroner’s office did not provide details about what led to Brady’s death, and Johnson said that “police do not suspect foul play or an accidental fall.”

We have identified the deceased as the mother of one of the graduation students at the 2024 Ohio State graduation ceremony. She was at the event to celebrate her daughter’s graduation when the sad incident occurred, turning the girl’s day of celebration into a day of mourning. Her daughter had graduated and received her diploma that day.
