2024 BECE Career Technology Sample Questions

Schools, teachers, and students preparing for the BECE can now revise with our 2026 BECE Career Technology Sample Questions. These two basic sample questions cover the Career Technology curriculum from basic 7 to basic 9.

The questions are both critical thinking and direct questions to test candidates and help them revise for their pending examination.

 

The 2026 BECE Career Technology Sample Questions

This paper is in two sections, A and B. Answer Question I on Section A and any other two questions in Section B. Answer all the questions in your answer booklet.

SECTION A
[30 MARKS]
Answer Question 1
[Compulsory]

Mr. Nkansah a dealer in building construction materials including iron roods and all kinds of steal has noticed his stocks of rods are corroding. He has been wondering if he can find any four different solutions to that will prevent the worrying effects of corrosion which is making buyers reluctant to buy from him. He does not also understand how to explain what is happening to the metals.

1. a. i. Identify end explain the key issue/term to him (3 marks)
ii. Suggest solutions to the troubled Mr. Nkansah? (4 marks)

b. i. Explain environmental health. (3 marks)
ii. Give four consequences of poor environmental health. (4 marks)

c. i. Fashion-Nita is a top fashion designing business in Kumasi. The manager Aunty Nita has invited you to teach her new apprentices why body measurements are always taken before making a garment. Tina one of the apprentices asked you in what four she can ensure accuracy when taking body measurements. Explain your answers [8 arks]

d. Mr. Ganyo has drawn two different lines on a flat surface he is about to cut at the work shop. When you saw them, you screamed, Mr. Ganyo I know what you are doing with the lined you have made. Our teacher said they are called continuously thick lines and continuously thin lines. Just then Mr. Ganyo said he does not even know their English names. Help him to differentiate between them and support with a sketch (4 Marks)
