2024-2025 GES Reposting Sample Letter For Teachers

Following the announcement of the 2024-2025 GES Reposting Sample Letter for Teachers, Ghana Education News is excited to share with teachers seeking to be reported during the inter-regional, inter-, and intra-reposting.

Your trustworthy Ghana Education Service News portal spotted an update from the Ghana Education Service (GES) stating that the reporting will begin on Monday, July 1, 2024, and conclude on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

The reposting will take place from August to September 2024, when the 2024–2025 academic year begins. All applicants are required to submit their details to the GES Headquarters via their Regional Education Directorates.

One of the requirements for this is the reposting letter. We have made a sample of the letter available for interested teachers to download and edit for the application.

We encouraged teachers to read through the sample thoroughly and make the necessary changes. Also, start the application process early to avoid any disappointments.

Ensure that you follow the laid-down rules, meet the requirements, and follow the submission procedures. Do not hand over your completed application form and attachment documents to anyone at the regional office except the officers in charge. Ask for the submission signing book, if any, to ensure you have evidence that you have submitted the application.

Facts to include in your letter

  • Both your present municipal and the one you wish to transfer to are important.
  • Your current school’s name.
  • The reason(s) why you are requesting reports (e.g., illness)
  • Your staff ID
  • Registration Number
  • Rank

The letter should be straight-forward and precise. We suggest that you get someone to peruse the letter to help detect and correct errors you might not see.

Also, itemise all the documents and requirements and think about them as you get them to ensure that you do not miss any of them. Your failure to submit all of the requirements will result in your application being rejected for reposting.
