GES declares 3 vacancies at the district level
The Ghana Education News can confirm that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared three (3) vacancies open at the district level.
The vacancies declared are as follows:.
1. IPPD
2. Agriculture, science, and environment officer
3. Research and record officers

In which district are the vacancies located?

The GES’s Afadzato South District Education Directorate released a letter on October 1, 2024, announcing the vacancies. Interested and qualified applicants are to apply for the positions declared no later than October 25, 2024.

The IPPD Vacancy: Qualification and Experience Required 

  • The applicant must be a professional graduate teacher in the grade of AD I or above.
  • He or she must not be more than 50 years old.
  • You need to possess a background in accounting, mathematics, or statistics.

The Agriculture, Science, and Environment Officer Vacancy: Qualification and Experience Required 

  • The applicant must be a professional graduate teacher in the grade of AD II or above.
  • He or she must not be more than 45 years old.
  • One must possess a minimum degree in science.

Research and Record Officer Vacancy: Qualification and Experience Required 

  • The applicant must be a professional graduate teacher in the grade of AD II or above.
  • He or she must not be more than 45 years old.
  • Must have athematics and science background

In addition to the above, the applicant must have a satisfactory work history and conduct within the GES and be computer literate.

How to Apply for the open vacancies

Interested individuals who meet the necessary qualifications and have a satisfactory work history, along with the necessary certificates and relevant documents such as a curriculum vitae, first appointment letter, last promotion letter, personal record form, and sealed confidential report from the Head of Institution, are encouraged to apply in duplicate to the Distrcit Direcot, GES, Afadzato South Distrcit, Ve-Golokuati by Friday, 25th October, 2024.
Applicants from institutions outside Afadzato should route their applications through their heads of institution. Applicants should indicate their contacts for ease of communication.
