Finally, The 2024 BECE Confirmed Dates For Marking Has Been Released. Few Weeks After The Final Year Junior High School Sat For The Annual BECE, The Dates For Marking Has Been Released.

The 2024 BECE was written by all final year students in junior high school across the country. The examination is held annually for all West African countries. 2024 BECE confirmed dates have been released as of today, 25th August 2024.

The BECE was written in just a week and mostly WAEC Ghana do release the results after marking is done. Earlier, we reported of the delay in marking of the scripts. The marking will be done in three sessions; zonal, main and conference.

The date for the zonal marking will commence from the 17th to 18th of September, the main will also commence from 19th to 21st of September, and that of the conference marking will be from 21st September to 11th October 2024.

As reported, official marking will begin from the 17th of September 2024.

When Will The 2024 BECE Results Be Released?

Normally, WAEC Ghana releases the results after 90 days of the final paper. For this period, we urge all candidates to remain calm as their results will soon be released.

The 2024 BECE was written by over 750,000 candidates with 282,648 being males and 386,447 being females. The number of private candidates had 735 males with 631 females. About 19,506 schools across the country, while the examination was written across 2,123 centres in Ghana.

We predict the release of the 2024 BECE results earlier than the 2024 WASSCE, as the examination is still in session. Monday 26th August 2024, all final year senior high school students will be sitting for their first theory paper which is the Social Studies. The Social Studies, being a core subject, will be written by every candidate irrespective of their courses.

The 2024 School Selection program for all junior high school graduates will start on Wednesday 28th August 2024 with the training of heads beginning on Monday 26th to Tuesday 27th August 2024. The selection process will be the same as last year.
