KNUST 2024 Admission Scam Alert

The management of KNUST has cautioned applicants and the general public about an ongoing 2024 admission scam by some unscrupulous persons. It has called on all students and applicants to be vigilant so that they do not become victims of such people’s activities.

The general public should note that KNUST e-vouchers bought from unauthorized sellers  may not work or may be fake.

 

KNUST 2024 Admission Scam Alert Details

The KNUST management, through its admission office, has reminded all applicants to keep in mind the following:

  1. When applying for admission to KNUST, avoid buying e-vouchers from third-party websites.
  2. The Ghana Post Office exclusively sells undergraduate forms through its regional offices and the shortcode *447*160#.
  3. For postgraduate and IDL forms, you can purchase e-vouchers (containing the login ID, serial number, and PIN) using the short code *447*160# or from the following approved banks:

[a] Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)

[b] Consolidated Bank (CBG)

[c] Ecobank

After obtaining your e-voucher, go to the official online admission portal at https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions to begin your application process.

Applicants should be aware that any procedure that differs from the previously explained one for purchasing a KNUST admission e-voucher could potentially be fraudulent. The KNUST 2024 Admission Scam Alert to Applicants is to ensure their safety and help avoid losing money to criminals.

Nursing Admission Deadline Extention

In a related development, the KNUST admission office has directed all applicants applying for nursing, midwifery, emergency nursing, and public health nursing to upload these documents before the application deadline.

The required documents are:
WASSCE Certificates/Results Slips, or KNUST Access Results
KNUST Diploma Certificate
NMC Certificate

We have extended the admissions deadline for nursing programmes to June 14, 2024. The new deadline officer gives all nursing-interested applicants who have not started their admissions processing an opportunity to do so by buying the needed e-voucher.

Admission Deadline For Undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes

  • Undergraduate degree and top-up programmes of study at the university for the 2024–2025 academic year are now on sale. Deadline: October 31, 2024.
  • Applications for admission to postgraduate degree programmes of the university through regular and distance learning modes (Institute of Distance Learning) (MSc/MEd/MArch/MFA/MA/MComm/MBA/MPA/MPH/LLM/MPhil/PhD/EdD) for the 2024-2025 academic year are open. Deadline: October 31, 2024.
