2024 BECE Apor Registration Starts, WAEC wake up

While many students and schools are genuinely working hard to get ready for the exam and pass, there are syndicates registering candidates, teachers, parents, and schools with the intention of selling supposed exam questions and answers to those who part with money for the said service.

For now, the issue is not whether the questions and answers being made available to those who pay for them are truly the 2024 BECE questions and answers, but rather the likelihood of silent leaks.

WAEC and all its staff, both permanent and temporary, will be held responsible if questions and marking schemes for 2024 get leaked to BECE candidates.

Since these candidates are not WAEC employees, WAEC should not punish them alone if it discovers them in possession of such materials.

The above simply means that apart from parents who may buy these supposed leaked questions, schools may also be patronizing such services.

The WAEC and the security agencies must be very proactive if they are to halt the possible leakage of such questions. Arresting persons who market the leak of examination questions must be arrested for questioning and investigations even before they commit crimes that will negatively influence the credibility of the 2024 BECE.

If this is not checked, while hard working students are revising their notes for the BECE, others will be revising answers to the would be administered 2024 BECE.

WAEC, the Ghana Police and other stakeholders must be proactive to halt the activities of such syndicates to help preserve the credibility of the examination among others.

We must collectively help stop the 2024 BECE Apor Registration and the potential leaking of exam questions.
