2024 BECE Final Home Mock Results And Examiners Report Out

The Education-News Consult has released the final 2024 BECE Home Mock Results and Examiners Report for all candidates who sat the examination in May. This publication covers how to check the results, details about the BECE home mock, predicted topics for 2024 Mathematics, and the examiner general report.

The mock, which is in its third year, has proven to be an excellent exercise for parents and candidates because it provides these stakeholders with exam information that is often not available from schools.

All home candidates sat for eight subjects in the final home mock. Since November 2023, all mocks conducted by the Education-News Consult have been based on its internally projected areas.

The mocks carried out from January 2024 to June 2024 were all structured in the NACCA and WAEC new question structure before the two outfits released their sample mocks. Our questions have provided all candidates in the home mock with a realistic preview of the 2024 BECE, which WAEC will administer from July 8th to July 15, 2024.

Our 2023 BECE mocks helped our candidates obtain grades between Aggregate 15 and 8, and we hope the tough preparation we have offered our home candidates will help them excel in their examination.

Overall, from November 2023 to June 2024, the Education and News Consult organized eight home mocks for candidates across the country.

How can I verify the 2024 BECE Final Home Mock Results?

Please keep in mind that the 2024 BECE final mock results project only the raw score for candidates per subject.

On this page, choose May as the exam month.
Choose 2024 as your exam year.
Enter your ROLL NUMBER, which is your phone number, without the starting “0.” For instance, if your phone number is 0550360665, enter 0550360665.
To load the results, click SEARCH.

Please be aware that some students’ results lack index numbers, leading us to assign unique numbers to them. Parents who are unable to access their ward’s results should contact us with the names of such candidates to rectify the issue.

Finally, some candidates or parents have no results at all. Either the candidates submitted their scripts late, or there was another issue.

If there are no loaded results in the Final Mock, Education-News Consult will not comment on these scripts due to the closeness of the BECE, making it technically impossible for the team to mark such papers. We are sorry if any parent or candidate faces such an issue.

Schools have had challenges training their candidates on how to attempt applications and answer case study questions. This can negatively affect the results of candidates preparing for the BECE if WAEC and NaCCA do not blend direct and case studies, application, or critical thinking.
Candidates who sat the examination often lagged behind in subjects such as creative arts, design, and career technology. This had a significant impact on candidates’ performance in these subjects.
Candidates have serious problems with answering English-language summary questions. The students are not able to answer the questions well. Most of them write very long, winding responses or answers without any relevant information. This can negatively affect the performance of most BECE candidates in the 2024 exam.
Candidates are making unpardonable errors in the formal and informal letters they write. In these areas, English teachers must assist their candidates. A lot of candidates don’t know the difference between a formal and an informal letter, or they confuse the two.
Poor presentation of answers in RME and social studies, as well as the provision of answers that are not rich with information, lead to low marks.
Mathematics and science are serious headaches for most candidates. Science, in particular, plays a critical role in determining a student’s placement in a school or their lack thereof. Candidates don’t appear prepared for WAEC’s 2024 BECE Mathematics and Science exams.
Students often score poorly in their objective tests, which also affects their overall performance per subject.
