2024 NSMQ Regional Contests

Primetime, the organisers of the coveted National Science and Math Quiz, have announced the 2024 NSMQ regional contest dates along with the pairings. The regional championships start from June 10th to June 19th, 2024.

All in all, over 150 schools will be competing for a lot at the national level.

Western North NSMQ Regional 2024 Contests

The Western North NSMQ Regional 2024 contests will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Western NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests

The Western NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests will be held over two days. The first two contests will be held on Monday, June 17th, while the second-day contest is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Upper West NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests

The contests for the Upper West NSMQ 2024 regional event are scheduled for June 17th and 18th, 2024. All five contests will be held. Each contest will be between four schools.

Bono East NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, four regional contests will be organised for SHSs in the Bono East region to help determine representatives for the region at the national contest. 

Ahafo NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests

Tuesday, June 11, 2024, will be the turn of schools in the Ahafo region. In all, there will be four contests for the schools in the NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests.

 

Greater Accra NSMQ 2024 Regional Contests

The Greater Accra region will be the venue for nine contests at the regional competition from June 10th to June 12th. The three-day event will see the election of some big names in Accra. The likes of Labone SHS, St. Mary’s SHS, Frafraha SHS, Accra Girls’ SHS, West Africa SHS, and St. Thomas Aquinas have higher chances of making it out of the regional context to the national; however, the other schools, including Accra High School, Forces SHTS, Christia Meth. SHS, and the rest, will surely hold their own to prove a point.

At the end of the 2024 NSMQ Regional Contests, the schools that make it to the national level will be added to the ceded schools for the balloting for the preliminaries of the national event.
