Biomed Systems Enterprise, in collaboration with the CSRI Institute for Industrial Research, East Legon, has opened admission for entry-level and advanced-level practical biomedical equipment maintenance and repair training programmes.
The shot course is a practical-based programme that will equip individuals with the requisite skills and knowledge to be able to repair and maintain all kinds of biomedical equipment used in health facilities.

Entry-level programme
For those with little to no experience in the repair and maintenance of crucial biomedical equipment, the entry-level practical programme offers 3-day intensive practical training in a step-by-step process.

The CSRI Institute for Industrial Research, located in East Legon, Accra (near the University of Professional Studies), will host the entry-level training from June 12th–14th, 2024.

Advanced Intermediate Level/Technical Specialist Programme
This training module is for individuals who have acquired basic knowledge in biomedical training equivalent to the Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate.
- The participant will acquire advanced practical skills in electrical, electronics, and IT troubleshooting.
- I have received special training in advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- I possess practical skills in preventive maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Use of application software for system setups is practical.
