GES to Recruit New Teachers for Bawku & Pusiga Basic Schools
The latest news on education in Ghana indicates that the Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to recruit new teachers to fill various vacant teaching positions in Bawku and Pusiga areas.
According to report, close to 500 teachers have left Bawku and Pusiga districts since 2022 due to the ongoing riots. This has caused a lot of vacancy in the teaching field. GES is currently hiring new teachers who live in such areas to apply for recruitment..
Persons who wish to apply must have completed National Service, passed GTLE, and must have a university degree in education.
Aside this, the Ghana Education Service, has opened the 2024 GES recruitment portal for 2022 colleges of education batch.

Documents Needed To Apply For 2024 GES Recruitment
All Newly Posted Teachers who will be posted to Specific Regions are expected to visit the regional Education Offices in other to get further assistance as to their various districts and schools.
The following documents might be needed;
1. College or University Certificate
2. National Service Certificate
3. Licensure Examination Certificate
4. A valid ID Card
5. SSNIT Biometric
6. Birth Certificate
7. Bank Account Details
Sources close to the Ghana Education Service have revealed that the 2024 GES Recruitment Portal is likely to be opened in February 2024.

4. You will be required to select 3 languages
