Latest Ghana Education News: 2024 School Selection, GES Recruitment Fiasco and GTLE

Ghana Education Service (GES) Recruitment Fiasco

Following the capturing of names of educators in what has become known as the Regional Masterlist, teachers whose details were captured in the so-called Regional Masterlist but have not received regional postings or confirmation letters from their districts or municipalities were directed to follow up for these documents directly from their district, municipal, or metropolitan directly. They WON’T GET STAFF IDS from the Ghana Education Service.

Ghana Education News spotted the above on a reputable teacher platform.

“All those whose names weren’t captured in the regional masterlist and didn’t receive regional postings and confirmation letters to their respective districts or municipalities but were asked to go to the district, municipality, or metropolitan directly WON’T get their staff IDs,” the notice indicated.

The details in the message indicate that the GES Head Office has already cancelled the appointments of teachers in this situation.

Leadership at the national offices identified as the masterminds behind this act have been identified and interdicted, waiting for their fate according to the update.

If you have any colleagues at your school who have gone through the same process, you can share it with them.

We have cautioned teachers under the GES to be extra careful about the GES recruitment front going forward.
