NTC Opens 2024 GTLE (September) Portal – Apply Here
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has opened the registration portal for the 2024 teacher licensure examination (GTLE September edition). Let’s take a look at how you can apply.
Before you apply, your first need to check your confirmation status. This means, you first need to check if your tertiary institution has submitted your index number to NTC.
Once your index number is in the system, you will need to get your indexing number from the portal. This comes at a fee Click here to check your confirmation status and get your indexing number. The indexing fee is 55 cedis.

HOW TO GET YOUR INDEXING NUMBER
- Visit any Prudential Bank Branch nationwide or simply dial *772*51# and pay an amount of GHC 55 as indexing fee.
- After payment has been made successfully, you will receive an SMS which contains your indexing number. If you failed to receive the SMS, you can use the transaction number indicated on your payment receipt.
- Click here to verify and update your details.
- You are required to keep your indexing number safe, since it will be used for GTLE registration
HOW TO PURCHASE A GTLE VOUCHER
You can purchase a GTLE voucher from any Prudential Bank branch nationwide or simply dial *772*51# to use mobile money.
Registration Process
i. Fresh candidates are required to pay GHC 455.00 to register for the examination.
ii. Candidates who are re-sitting a paper are to pay GHC 155.00.
iii. Candidates who are re-sitting two (2) papers are to pay GHC 210.00. Candidates who are re-sitting all three (3) papers are to pay GHC 385.00.
iv. Payment can be made at any branch of Prudential Bank Ltd nationwide or mobile money payment can be made through the short code *772*51# across all networks.
v. Where payment is made at the bank, candidates must remember to take their Pin and Serial Number from the bank.
vi. Log on to exams.ntc.gov.gh
vii. Enter your e-voucher Serial number and Pin
viii. Fill in all the fields and remember to upload your passport-size photograph.
