According to his story, he left Ghana for the US, not knowing what the future had to offer, but finally ended up in Canada, where he became successful. He inspired teachers in Ghana, who earn meager wages, by advising them to embrace risk.
He advises teachers in Ghana to risk travelling abroad if they are thinking of it. He was sincere in admitting that moving from Ghana to the US and then to Canada, where he currently resides, did not come easy, as he had to face several challenges.

To overcome the financial obstacle, the teacher used his job to his advantage and obtained a loan of 20,000 cedis to pay for his travel and visa procedures. He was quick to add that his bank balance was one of the major factors when he wanted to travel. “I encourage all my colleagues not to complain about lacking funds for travel because I was once in that situation. Take risks; it’s part of life,” he stated in the video.
