Professional teachers who want to apply for recruitment must have the following: The required documents include the degree certificate, NSS certificate, NTC license number, Ghana card, and a passport-sized photograph. These are the documents required to begin the application for the portal’s posting process.

 

Who qualifies to apply for the GES recruitment?

Only teachers who completed the College of Education in 2022 have no pending exams or referrals.

The applicant must have also completed the mandatory national service.

He or she must have passed the NTC-organized National Teacher Licensure Examination.

Since the GES can post applicants to any school in the country, the applicant must also be ready and willing to work anywhere in Ghana as a teacher under the Ghana Education Service.

  1. Go to the GES portal at https://gespromotions.gov.gh/ to make a purchase.
  2. On the page that opened, click the “Purchase eVoucher” button.
  3. Choose a type of voucher.
  4. Opt for a mobile money network (MTN, VODA, etc.).
  5. To make the payment, enter your correct MoMo number as well as an active and valid email.
  6. To confirm payment, use your four-digit Momo Pin.
  7. You will receive the e-voucher code and transaction ID as an SMS.

How to access 2024 GES recruitment portal

  5. Now upload a soft copy of your passport picture and certificates as required.
  6. Make sure you have entered every detail correctly by reviewing the entire application.
  7. Submit the online application form.

After receiving the application, the Ghana Education Service will review it using the criteria announced. The GES will then post teachers to various schools where their services are required.

The GES will officially announce the posting following the competition, and teachers who applied will have to check if they were successful.
